AluK HD bifold doors now available
Incredibly durable, the BSF70 bifold system offers exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation along with stunning contemporary aesthetics: that was one of the reasons we decided to offer it as part of our range.
It utilises a slim, and flexible design that incorporates an alignment pin for easier, and more accurate, installations. In addition, the AluK HD bifold system has been tested to 25,000 cycles in accordance with BS EN 1527, and it can hold glass loads of up to 130kg per panel; making it a truly versatile addition to an installer’s range.
Design features
The AluK HD bifold is internally beaded for additional security, and has the option of chamfered or square beads for greater customisation. It uses a unique, flush line pop-out handle that maximises the opening distance of the door and allows for square stacking panels, improving aesthetics. In addition, it can also be supplied with a low threshold which can be configured to achieve Part M and DDA compliance.
Options and configurations
On top of this, the system can customised in a number of ways, making it an incredibly versatile addition to a product range. Bifold panels and doors can be supplied in a variety of different styles, designs and configuration, all available with both open-in and open-out options. There’s also a full range of bespoke hardware to choose from, and the system can be fitted with glazing sized between 28mm and 40mm.
Available in a wide range of colours and finishes
The BSF70 bifold system is available in huge array of RAL colours and be supplied in dual aspects, allowing you to match the aesthetic of your bifold to the needs of your project. It’s also available in both anodised and powder coated finishes which gives you and your customers greater flexibility over the type of finish of your bifold.
